Personally I LOVE the new mainland. Forests are nice eye candy but in my opinion you always know the path which you will be taking through the area over and over... Yuk.. Last night running around the mainland if i didn't like one way hey presto i'll run another way. Harder to get backed into corners when you have somewhere to run. I remember standing in a lake in Arkjok Ward and all the mobs were standing around the outside but not coming into the water. Like an oasis lol.. And in the same area finding fortresses with massive ships and spanning bridges.. sigh.. Lets just say the screenshot button got a workout last night.

Made me realise how much i love the great outdoors

Great job to the design team.. I have nothing but nice things to say..

Oh.. except when i landed on mainland only to find Koss had disappeared with my Golden Pheonix Blade And Strongroots shelter without even so much as a see ya later and thanks for the goodies.. Luckily I found him later and he hadn't ebayed them for money to keep his stylist busy keeping him so mean looking..

Once again great job.. Love it all so far..

One little comment tho... There are times on newbie island when yr primary quest disappears and i noticed a lot of people a bit confused on how to progress. I think a the Primary Goal Or Objective should always be displayed even it means pointing out that a secondary quest requires completion to activate the primary once again.

Just a thought on keeping the new people moving forward.. After all it is the starting area and new people would benefit from easily understood objectives rather then being called Noobs by half the witnesses i noticed last night.

I hope that one day anet actually learns how to create a "fantasy" world. I play RPGs to go somewhere I can't on Earth. The thing I've always hated most about GW is the environments. Their just so bland.

The northwest part is sulfur and all hellish and you get to ride giant worms! FRIGGIN AWESOME! Other than that the other 75% of the game is pretty much the same... I digged it the first few areas, but then it got kinda old.

I have more if you really want but I'd zip them and upload via free hosting, as my cheap free tiscali webspace is really small!
